Formed in 1969 in Nova Scotia, April Wine relocated to Montreal in 1970 where they soon became one of Canada’s favourite rock bands. What will Ontario look like moving forward out of the recession? What does Ontario need to become a 21st-century powerhouse? Could the new Ontario be a green Ontario? How can your community contribute and benefit and what is needed to move the agenda forward? The Agenda with Steve Paikin will be in Brockville Sunday February 28 and Monday March 1 to hear from citizens in Eastern Ontario about how the province is being reinvented in the new economy.
This will be the second stop of these two-day, interactive events featuring a daylong, participant-led workshop called AgendaCamp on Sunday, February 28 at St. Lawrence College and a live, on-location broadcast of The Agenda with Steve Paikin at the Brockville Arts Centre the following night, Monday March 1 at 8 pm.

STUART McLEAN is one of Canada's most beloved storytellers and a best-selling author. His hit CBC radio show "THE VINYL CAFE" premiered in 1994, and each week close to 1 million listeners tune in to hear stories about Dave, owner of the second hand record store where the motto is: “We May Not Be Big, But We're Small". The stories also feature Dave's wife, Morley, their two children, Sam and Stephanie, and assorted friends and neighbours. The show also features live and recorded music by both up-and-coming and established Canadian musicians. Increasingly it is becoming a place where Canadians go to find new, undiscovered talent.
